Weekend Snapshots

1 // Mega flattering Chinese restaurant lighting. 2 // Heart shaped cutouts on benches. 3 // I seriously ate my body weight in fries this weekend. 4 // So did my nephew, the little booger. 5 // Then we found a giant glitter ball, which was pretty much amazing. 6 // And I can't go into a gift shop without putting on those Rasta dread hats they always carry.

It was a crazy, loud, tequila filled, foodfest of a weekend with some of my family in town for a few days. I am still completely exhausted but this is a huge week - no time for rest! Yesterday was my first day at my new internship! I will definitely give you guys a complete recap once I finish out the week (I go in tomorrow again) but I'm really enjoying it so far :)

Okay, there's no denying the fact that 99.99999999% of bloggers are a bit cat obsessed. I won't pretend I'm part of the 0.0000000001% that are not. For that reason, this week's finds are themed to fit our totally rational obsession!

rides // daisies and blue skies

I woke up this morning to find the most beautiful, absolutely perfect weather happening outside my window. I guess all that whining I did about the rainy days we've been having finally paid off! I celebrated by going on a long bike ride along the river by my apartment. Obviously, it ruled.

1 // I wrapped daisies along the front of my bike basket and now my bike is 10000000000000% prettier. 2 // Found these markers all around the trails. How very thoughtful of the city of Orlando! 3 // I wasn't lying about it being the most beautiful day! I even got a mini sunburn because there was not a single cloud in the sky. 4 // Decided to wear my Edies on my ride today and totally wrecked the front of the left shoe. Ugh. This is why I can't have nice things.

So, that was my Sunday. Well, part of it at least. I plan to spend the rest of the afternoon/evening watching copious amounts of Mad Men! How was your weekend?
